The tools explain how a hold, paytable, or session is evaluated mathematically. They are designed to help you understand expected value, house edge, RTP, draw probability, and variance — not to tell you to gamble or to suggest gambling is a reliable way to make money.
No Guarantee of Accuracy
The math here is checked carefully, but no calculator or page is guaranteed error-free, and figures can become outdated. Every result depends on assumptions — the exact paytable, variant, rules, and strategy model. A correct calculation applied to the wrong game gives a misleading answer.
Verify the paytable
Returns and strategy change with the pay schedule. A 9/6 Jacks or Better figure does not describe an 8/5 table, a wild-card game, or a bonus variant.
Estimates vs exact models
Some tools are exact for a stated model; others are approximations or comparisons. Where a tool estimates, that limit is noted on the page itself.
No Prediction of Outcomes
Video poker results come from a random process. No calculator, chart, or system on this site can predict the next card, detect a hot or due machine, beat a random number generator, or remove variance. Past results do not influence future hands.
Expected value describes a long-run average over many hands, not a forecast of any single session. Even perfect strategy loses regularly in the short term.
